The Rocket

I was feeling scared, but I kept on running.

Yesterday, I had a lot of fun. Room 4 had swimming practice and it was the last one. It was really, really fun! We got to go on a rocket. The rocket was red and wobbly. I had three turns. I kept on running until I fell off, then I jumped back into line. Everyone had a turn, but then I heard Mrs Thomson call out, "Everyone, hop out of the pool." Everyone went to the changing rooms. We took a little while then we all got a lollipop. I got a purple one; so did Piper, then we started walking back to school. 

World of Maths

Ring! Ring! The bell rang. That meant it was time for World of Maths. We all lined up. The doors opened. Room 4, Room 3, Room 2 and Room 1 all went inside. We sat down on the ground. I was number 7. There were a lot of cool games. We were doing them for ages but it was still a lot of fun. The cow one was the hardest for me.

2016 is the Year of the Monkey.

Swimming 2016

Splash! The whole class jumped in the water. Ashley and Shenagh taught us a lot of cool things. I liked it at the end because we got to play and we got to find toys at the toys at the end. After we jumped in the pool, we did some exercising around. The whole class was swimming around the pool and we kept on swapping ways. It was such fun, then we did some swimming from side to side. We did some backstroke too.

 

Calf Club

After we had got all the coats and brushes, we went to get our calves, Christmas and Smudge, then we happily brought them up to the house and put them into the cage.  We got into the car and drove off. 
When we got there, we took them out of the cage, then we got the brushes and started brushing them. When it was Emily’s turn, she started walking over and I walked over with her because it was my first time showing a calf. It was fun. Emily got a 1st place with Smudge, then it was my turn. The nice lady called out the numbers. I was number 17 and  I went in with Christmas. I went around the course and came 2nd, then it was Emily’s turn again and she got 5th place. After that, it was my turn again and I got another 2nd place. On my third turn, I got a 4th place.

We went to my mum’s work and the kindy kids got to pat Christmas and Smudge, then we went home.
